Your main objective in Vex 8 is to safely guide your character from the starting point to the final gate. You have to perform various actions such as running fast, jumping far, clinging to walls, climbing walls, and landing in the correct positions. During gameplay, you will face many types of traps, including:
- Fixed or suddenly appearing spikes.
- Continuously moving saw blades.
- Falling traps, timed traps.
- Moving platforms that make landing more difficult.
Simply touching a trap once will instantly eliminate your character and send you back to the nearest checkpoint. Alternatively, you can try Hard Mode, where familiar levels are transformed to be more challenging. In this mode, traps appear more frequently and at a faster pace.
